The VIS-G25 is a microprocessor control for adjusting the ink viscosity. It calculates the speed of a falling body in the liquid, maintaining a constant viscosity. The detector, placed in the danger zone, which derives some ink from the pump goes toward the basin. With no moving parts and car wash after work is maintenance of the operator.

APPLICATIONS

PANEL DISPLAY AND CONTROL
20x4 backlit LCD display, membrane keys for setting data,
choice of cup of reference, setting the reference viscosity,
viscosity measured with a precision of 0.1 sec.
Compensation of viscosity with temperature variations.
Bar graph to display the error immediately viscosity,
signal error (no ink, no solvent, solvent, viscosity out of tolerance).

CONTROL
Rack system with wiring connectors.
Panel display single or multiple.
Installed in a cabinet chosen by the customer or alternatively plate.
RS232 for PC or PLC for external contacts.
Intrinsic safety barriers, marked: II (1) G [Exia] IIB.

DETECTOR
The G 25-RIV-IEP is installed in the danger zone close to the basin, marked: II 2G Ex i II.B T6
Three valves driven by pneumatic valves.
Powered by a pneumatic or electric pump.

CARE AND CLEANING
 
At the end of work you do to clean ink input and output automatically at the touch of a button.
With three valves closed the solvent remains in the sensor in order to avoid drying of ink during downtime
No mechanical parts subject to wear.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The detector G25-RIV should be placed as close as possible to the substance to be measured. It comes with a filter, to be placed in series with the pump to the ink, which is taken from part of the product to be measured to be sent to the detector. The substance is pumped into the measuring chamber calibrated by bringing up the ball after which the flow is blocked, and the fall of the ball finds the value in seconds (Ford cup-ZAHN). Dilution if necessary by opening the valve is placed in the detector, which allows the passage of the solvent in quantities necessary to dilute the substance measured, while cleaning the measuring chamber.

- When completed, you can clean the viscometer by controlling the sheath washing, or by remote control placed on the detector. The washing solvent acts by sending a time set by the first detector to the pump and then to the exhaust of the substance in the tank.
